About me
Nimrita is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering in Bangalore, India.
She holds a PhD in machine learning, with gold medals in Bachelor of Engineering and Masters of Technology.
She has an academic experience of 19 years with 8 years in research and 35 peer reviewed publications & a patent. Her research interests include Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. Nimrita is the principal investigator for three research projects in machine learning and natural language processing funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Nimrita is a recipient of the IBM Generative AI Faculty award 2024, NVIDIA research accelerator award 2022, and NVIDIA Jetson Nano Grant 2020. Nimrita is a senior member of IEEE, ACM and core member of IEEE CI/AISC - Generative AI and Foundation Model Subcommittee.
Nimrita has spoken at multiple international workshops and seminars on the topics of Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Generative AI.
