Dr. Nithya Ganesan is a performance expert for the Z Platform at IBM ISDL Labs, where she leverages her extensive knowledge in computer science to drive innovative solutions. With a Master's degree from PSG Tech and a Ph.D. from IIIT Bangalore, she has a solid foundation in advanced computing concepts.
Nithya Ganesan began her career as a resource associate at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has spent the last three years teaching at RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru. She is passionate about research and has authored over 30 papers in leading conferences and journals, making significant contributions to the open-source community.
Recognized for her engaging presentations, she received the Best Speaker Award at a prestigious conference in Cambridge, UK. Her research interests include cloud computing, virtualization, software-defined networks, network function virtualization, and container technologies. Her doctoral thesis focused on analyzing the performance of service function chaining in Docker containers.
