About me
Monika is a Principal Technology Consultant and Innovation Lead at Celonis India Pvt Ltd. She also serves as the India Chapter Lead for Women in Process Mining. Previously, she spent five years as a Research Scientist in the AI for Automation team at IBM Research, India, and taught Software Engineering as a guest faculty at IIT Jodhpur. Monika earned her PhD from IIIT Delhi and Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands, where she applied process mining and machine learning techniques for software process improvement.
Her research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Process Mining, Business Process Transformation, Generative AI, and DevOps. Monika was awarded the very prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship and holds multiple US granted patents. She has received various global innovation awards at her organization. She has published over 10 research papers in top international conferences and journals. Monika is a sought-after speaker at international conferences, industry events, and academic institutions including IITs, IIITs, DTU, CMI, BITS Goa, DU, and JNU.
Monika's contributions have significantly impacted both industry technology advancements and academic learning initiatives. She has a keen interest in mentoring research interns and has successfully mentored over 10 student research projects. Outside of work, Monika enjoys spending time with her preschool-aged daughter.
