Ramya Sree Boppana is a Machine Learning Engineer at Google in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she works on Large Language Models (Gemini) for Google Cloud. Her work centers on enhancing Gemini's long-context understanding, enabling the model to effectively process and synthesize information from long documents. Prior to Google, Ramya worked at Microsoft. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Passionate about advancing the field of LLMs, Ramya's research explores the intersection of natural language processing and computer vision, specifically extending LLMs to understand visually rich documents. She actively contributes to the field by peer reviewing for machine learning publications.
