About me
Renuka Sindhgatta is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the software industry, industry research, and academia. As a technical leader at IBM Research, she heads a team dedicated to developing AI-based solutions that enhance user productivity and improve business processes. Collaborating with IBM's research and product teams, her work focuses on advancing innovations for optimizing business operations and contributing to IBM's product portfolio. Before this, Renuka led various efforts in different domains such as Education Technology, IT Operations, and Software Engineering.
In her role in academia, Renuka was a prominent researcher at Queensland University of Technology, where she founded a lab focused on explainable AI for predictive business process analytics. She has over 60 publications in top-tier conferences and 15 filed US patents. In 2022, Renuka received the Women in AI Leadership award from the Analytics India Magazine.
