Roopa leads Merchandising for Product Engineering which as the name suggests is the beginning of our retail ecosystem supporting vendor onboarding, negotiation, planning, forecasting, buying, price, promotion, clearance, Item, owned brands and intelligent automation.
Roopa has over 25 years of experience in the retail industry having worked with fortune 500 companies such as Walmart, Gap Inc and Albertsons. Her journey from software engineer to leading people and products gave her a great learning opportunity in Ecommerce, Stores, Omni Channel, Supply Chain and Core Data.
Roopa is passionate about building strong teams with strong diversity representation and creating a people-focused culture. She loves to travel, dance and read fictional books.
