About me
Shailja is a Research Scientist at IBM Research. My primary research focus is on applying AI to develop efficient, reliable and transparent systems. In particular, my current work focuses on developing foundational models for code generations, reasoning and alignment. Alongside, I also work on AI for social impact. Recently, she finished a postdoc from New York University in the Tandon School of Engineering within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Center of Cyber Security with Professors Ramesh Karri and Professor Siddharth Garg. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, Canada and a master's in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Delhi.
