About me
Shalini Kapoor is Chief Technologist for AWS APJ, Public Sector. She engages with key executive stakeholders at government agencies, public sector undertakings, education institutions, healthcare and non-profit organizations to shape policy, transform culture and implement change. She is a thought leader driving technology adoption for citizen scale national platforms leveraging Gen AI and Cloud thus positively impacting the lives of citizens through skilling, healthcare, livelihood and inclusion. She is a prolific speaker at tech conferences and a strategic advisor at several industry and policy bodies. Shalini has 27 years of industry experience, 15 patents, 4 IEEE papers, and was an IBM Fellow & Vice President prior to joining AWS. She is author of the book, 'AI for You- The new game Changer'. She is passionate about women in STEM, tech enabled societal reforms and academia.
