About me
Shoma Bakre is a co-founder of EmPower Research, now part of a global MNC, which she grew into a multi-million-dollar media research firm before transitioning to community service. In 2012, she founded Let’s Do Some Good Foundation (LDSG), which focuses on education, sanitation, vocational training, and women's empowerment, impacting thousands across India through partnerships and collaborative programs.
With over 30 years in CSR, entrepreneurship, and media, Shoma has also been recognized by NASSCOM and CII for her contributions to women’s empowerment. A published author and motivational speaker, she mentors women and social enterprises, while pursuing creative pursuits in painting, music, and film. Her recent social enterprise, Raasya, promotes sustainable livelihoods through recycling and upcycling.
