About me
Somya is a data science leader with expertise in building AI/ML models and operationalizing large scale big data capabilities to drive business intelligence and impact. Currently, she is the Head of Machine Learning and Site Lead, India at EarnIn, helping enable financial empowerment for the marginalized. She was previously at LinkedIn, leading the team responsible for ensuring safe conversations and spam prevention within Trust and Safety AI, and contributed to LinkedIn's Job Recommendations algorithms serving over 900M users. Prior to that, she worked at Flipkart and Oracle helping build their data and software capabilities. Somya received her masters from IIT Bombay with a focus on natural language processing.
