Dr. Vibha Tripathi, a dynamic social entrepreneur with 15+ years in renewable energy and water solutions, is the founder and CEO of Boon. A faculty member at IIT Kanpur in her previous avatar, Vibha used to lead groundbreaking research in flexible organic solar cells. Driven to solve grassroots challenges, Vibha quit her position and launched Boon to deliver eco-friendly solar water purification systems, impacting over 25,000 people daily and eliminating 4,500 tons of plastic annually. With a keen market insight, Dr. Tripathi has secured multiple funding rounds, including recent support from RG Ventures, to fuel Boon’s growth. A passionate advocate for clean water and renewable energy, she focuses on innovation to reshape India’s energy and water landscapes.
